Give a new name to the shortcut or just keep the default name. Select Create shortcut, Add to desktop, or Create application shortcuts (depending on the OS you use). Now, whenever you click on the shortcut in your taskbar, a Microsoft Edge tab will open and it will take you to the URL you created a shortcut for. Right-click on the shortcut and click on Pin to taskbar. Navigate to the More tools option from the drop-down list. Name your shortcut (Facebook for example). Click on the three dots button in the upper right corner.
